Welcome to the Mid Clyde Angling Association Website.
We offer Migratory, Trout and Coarse permits on a Day and Season ticket basis for 8 miles of double bank fishing in the lower Clyde from Bothwell bridge to Dalmarnock bridge - where industry once ruled the river but is now a healthy and fertile home to over 33 species of fish, including its famed Brown Trout and more recently a resurgent Salmon population.
You can fish by any legal method (except Prawn bait)
Our Waters are split into 2 beats - the Carmyle beat and the Crown lease. We own the Carmyle beat (2miles of single right bank from the Bloody burn to the Battle burn) see map.

Conservation
We operate a carcass tagging system. Each member is issued with 5 tags annually. A tag must be attached to each dead fish as soon as it is killed. After ALL tags have been used you must return ALL fish to the river alive

We now have an established but fragile spring run so enjoy a spring days fishing on the river BUT we urge you to return these precious fish alive.
Why not take a look at our blog to catch up on the latest catch reports and other goings on out and about on the river, Here
With Spring fish in the system and good water levels, why not have a look at this report " A Spring Day on the Clyde", for some inspiration, Here
