Tying the Fly
Hook in vice with set in bend for klinkhammer style.
Grey thread tied in and a flat layer laid down.
White antron wool tied in for wingpost.
Wing post formed and antron trimmed,thread wound back to well round bend of hook and fine tan ginger dubbing applied to thread.
Dubbed body wound on.
Peacock herl and a brown cock hackle tied in, note hackle stalk bound to wing post.
Peacock herl wound back and forward to create thorax,note tie in off on wing post.
Turn hook down in vice.
Wind hackle down to thorax bind off trim hackle tip and whip finnish off at base of wing post. .

Partridge Klinkhammer or similar
Grey UTC70 and UTC70 with colour to suit
White Antron wool
Fine synthetic dubbing similar to superfine colour to suit
Brown red game or colour to suit cock hackle,
